CuCarb® Filter Vessel

Project Description

The system utilises a CuCarb® Carbon filter vessel, the presence of reduced sulphur compounds such as DMS and DMDS are highly volatile and adsorption is one of the best ways to remove them. This is due to the carbon’s hydrophobicity (non-polar nature) that causes it to bind preferably to volatile organic odours than inorganic compounds.

Installation of the CuCarb® Carbon filter vessel allowed Hain Daniels to achieve the required performance criteria specifically as providing an acceptable odour concentration at the site boundary of 2.5ouE/m3 at the 98th percentile.

OSIL Scope

Turnkey design, manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning of CuCarb® Filter Vessel and Steel Supports.

Project Duration: 7 weeks
